Cookbook ProjectSeveral Navigators offered nutrition-oriented Lunch'n'Learns for health center staff. A homemade, delicious, healthy lunch was offered for a low price and employees were given the opportunity to discuss challenges to healthy eating and what the health center can do to promote healthy eating among its staff.
Girls on the Run!Several Navigators participated in coaching 15 girls in Girls on the Run, a 10-week program aimed at helping girls run their first 5k and develop self-esteem. Sixteenth Street is one of several sites in Milwaukee county hosting a team, with the financial support of Badger Mutual.
